Why Us?
It's NOT only What You Know, but also Who You Know.
Our team is part of HCA, the nation's leading provider of healthcare services, and has over 40 years of experience in the healthcare industry. We're focused on promoting quality healthcare and seek to do that in many ways - one of which is Training Program Outreach.
Training Program Outreach is dedicated to serving residents and fellows across the nation. Our team travels thousands of miles each year to establish and maintain long term relationships with training programs both in HCA hospital markets and in areas without an HCA hospital presence.
Training Program Outreach (TPO) is dedicated to assisting residents and fellows with the transition from training to practice.
For physicians in training we offer financial assistance through our stipend program and education on the business side of medicine through our free seminars - that's right, lunch or dinner is on us!
The HCA Stipend Program was one of the best decisions I made during my fellowship. Working with Kay Gerth and her staff was very easy and the benefit of having the stipend program far exceeds its monetary value. Less moonlighting and more time with family and friends are the biggest advantages in my book.

The best thing about the HCA Stipend Program is the network of support. This was very helpful in my search for employment after residency. The Stipend Program helped me financially; the staff was very efficient and accessible. It's a great program, a wonderful opportunity for support and establishing a relationship with HCA. Thank you again for your assistance.
LaTania Akers-White – Family Practitioner
The best thing about the HCA Stipend Program was the flexibility to train in an expensive city. Training in New York City provided me with cutting edge training and lots of pathology. The most challenging part of the stipend was finding a job afterwards - there were not too many cities that my wife and I wanted to live in, but it worked out great. Austin is wonderful and we are very happy. Thanks again for all your help.

“Recently while on vacation in Denver my daughter broke her arm and had surgical pin placement at the Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children. Our experience there was amazing. Every single person we interacted with, from doctors, to nurses, to transport, was absolutely amazing. It was by far the best care I have ever seen. Dr. Jaren Riley was the pediatric orthopedist doctor that took care of my daughter. He was caring and professional, and made us extremely comfortable.”
